A Path to Real Connections

Children between the ages of 4–7 have become overly dependent on digital tools due to staying at home during the pandemic and facing communication problems.
We are launching this project to encourage our students to interact across disciplines, connect with nature, and use digital tools safely and efficiently.

The project also supports the development of 21st-century skills. It is designed to explore solutions to global warming, discover the richness of nature, raise STEM awareness, promote early literacy, encourage multifaceted thinking, and foster an understanding of democracy, human rights, and environmental responsibility—all while using digital tools effectively.

Objectives

  1. To recognize and understand the importance of digital literacy in the 21st century
  2. To promote the safe and effective use of the internet and digital devices
  3. To encourage interdisciplinary interaction through various activities
  4. To support the effective use of early literacy practices
  5. To protect nature and raise awareness about the importance of recycling
  6. To engage in activities related to sustainability
  7. To foster multifaceted thinking, creative idea generation, and the importance of STEM education
  8. To ensure effective use of available data and materials through STEM-based projects
  9. To help children discover the richness of nature through hands-on activities
  10. To support emotional awareness and the ability to express thoughts and feelings

Project Duration

Our project will last for 3 months, beginning in October and ending in January.
The first two weeks will focus on introductory meetings, logo and poster voting, and presentations about participating countries, cities, schools, and teachers.
Throughout the rest of the project, regular meetings will be held, tasks will be assigned, and activities will be implemented.
In January, we will conduct end-of-project evaluation meetings, share final product surveys, and complete teacher evaluations.
