Climate Resilience Daily is a physical and electronic newspaper focused on climate change and sustainability. Each year, over 150 high school students across Bulgaria contribute articles, stories, and creative works, envisioning the world in 2050 and the Green Deal goals. Every school receives a copy for its library, ensuring continuity of the initiative. Now in its fourth edition, the newspaper makes climate challenges tangible and inspires students and the wider public to act. Supported by the EU Climate Pact, it mobilizes communities towards a climate-neutral Europe by 2050.
The pedagogy is rooted in project-based, experiential, and collaborative learning. Teachers use content creation as class challenges or homework, engaging students in research, critical thinking, teamwork, and creative expression. Students connect theory with practice, imagine future scenarios, and co-create solutions, while teachers, school boards, and headmasters provide guidance and institutional support. This inclusive model strengthens skills, ownership, collaboration, and civic engagement.
The initiative spans multiple subjects—Biology, Geography, Economics, Literature, Art, and Social Studies—transforming climate education from being theoretical and fragmented into a creative, experiential, and impactful process. Over the past three years, students have gained critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills while schools gained a lasting resource, each edition preserved in their libraries.
By raising awareness, developing green skills, and changing behaviors through tangible, relatable content, Climate Resilience Daily equips young people with the knowledge and motivation to act for a sustainable future.
