Dear members,
We want to draw your attention to a nice opportunity offered by the European Federation of Education Employers (EFEE), an organisation including various national bodies, representing the interests of employers in the European education sector (for all levels of education). They are also an official social partner at EU level and friends of our community.
From 12 to 16 February 2024, EFEE proposes a Leadership Week on “transforming schools into learning communities”. This transformation obviously also entails a special focus on sustainability.
In this context, the Education for Climate Coalition holds a dedicated online webinar about our community on 16 February 2024 from 13:30 to 14:30 CET under the title “Education for Climate Coalition: community co-creation for sustainability”.
And for this, we need you!
The concept and agenda we have in mind is the following:
- In the first 10 minutes, the Coalition Secretariat will present the journey that led to the creation of the Education for Climate Coalition and show how our community works, highlighting the main engagement anchor for collaboration opportunities – THE CHALLENGE HUB
- In the next 45 minutes, a panel discussion (with Q&A) will follow, involving community members having a conversation on how our community can make a difference for promoting climate/sustainable education and how it can be useful to them, sharing concrete examples but also impressions and/or hopes.
- The panel discussion will be composed of 5 members contributing to the community with different responsibilities, roles and backgrounds to illustrate the diversity of the community and the possibilities it offers. Moderation will be done by the Coalition Secretariat.
- In the last 5 minutes, we will draw an actionable outlook together.
We are therefore calling all members to declare their interest in participating in this webinar.
