🌱 Continuing the Journey: 2nd Scientific and Practical Conference “Green Education for a Sustainable Future” | 17–18 Nov 2025 | Regional Library “Zachary Kniazheski,” Stara Zagora, Bulgaria
Following the success of the 1st Bulgarian National Scientific-Practical Conference on Green Education (read more here), we are thrilled to continue this initiative and take it to the next level!
We would like to express our deepest gratitude to Tremeur Denigot, who participated as an official guest in the first edition of the conference. His support was truly exceptional before, during, and after the event, greatly enriching the dialogue and the exchange of experiences. We are equally thankful to the entire Secretariat, whose dedication and guidance made the first conference such a remarkable success.
The National Group Bulgaria of the Education for Climate Coalition, together with the Regional Economic Development Agency – Stara Zagora, Information Centre Europe Direct – Stara Zagora, and the Union of Bulgarian Teachers – Municipal Coordination Council, Stara Zagora, with the support of Bulgarian Ambassadors of the European Climate Pact and Scientix, are organizing the 2nd Scientific-Practical Conference “Green Education for a Sustainable Future”.
The conference, taking place in Stara Zagora, Bulgaria on 17–18 November 2025, will showcase the best Bulgarian educational practices implemented during the 2024–2025 school year, highlighting innovative approaches and inspiring examples in the field of climate education.
The 2nd edition will broaden the scope of the conference: besides presenting European Commission initiatives, we aim to share and exchange experiences with other national groups across Europe. This is a unique opportunity to connect, learn from each other, and inspire new actions for sustainable education.
