Science on Stage Germany is offering a free webinar on AI in STEM Education (in English) on March 10, 16:30-17:30 CET. We would be very grateful if you could forward the information through your channels or with interested teachers, colleagues and networks:
A thoughtful and well-informed approach to artificial intelligence is becoming increasingly essential in education. But how can we help students understand the basic principles, opportunities, and risks of AI? And how can we motivate them to develop AI-related skills?
In this webinar, our speakers Liliana Fernandes & Cláudia Meirinhos, primary school teachers in Portugal, will present practical, hands-on approaches to integrating AI into STEM education. Participants will be introduced to ready-to-use classroom materials, including the EcoKids Teach AI resources, as well as additional beginner-friendly tools, examples, and tips.
While the materials highlighted are primarily designed for primary school teachers, the webinar is open to educators from all types of schools, with a strong focus on STEM education, including science, technology, and computer science.
Participation is free of charge, and certificates of participation will be issued. Please register for this event here.
The webinar is organised by the NGO Science on Stage Germany, part of Science on Stage Europe – a network of STEM teachers dedicated to the exchange of best practice teaching ideas across Europe. Our goal is to strengthen STEM education by supporting teachers in their professional development and by spreading innovative teaching concepts as free open educational resources.
