First #EducationForClimate National Coordinators reunion

After our first open call for participation for #EducationForClimate National Coordinators, the first #EducationForClimate National Coordinators reunion will take place on the 10th of March of 2022 with all community members who have signalled until then to be interested and available as National Coordinators. How to signal your interest?

  • Join the National Coordinators group and look for your country conversation and connect with your fellows there
  • There's no conversation around your country on yet? Then indicate your willingness to facilitate a National Coalition in your profile and once we see that at least 3 people from the same country have done so, we open up the conversation!

During the event, with the support of the #EducationForClimate Secretariat, the prospective National Coordinators of the National Coalitions will be able to:

  • Come together as facilitators of their respective countries for the first time to get to know each other and start coordination
  • Gather and discuss about their key role and tasks in the Community and especially in their #EducationForClimate National Coalition
  • Share experiences, opportunities and practices in coordinating local actions like it will be the case in National Coalitions

Dear all,
dear coordinators who already had signed up (Agita KAUPUZA , Vassilis KARAMAOUNAS , ANESTIS PA , Kamil KUŞKAPAN , Marianne Mensah ),

These days we are facing complex, intertwined, life-threatening planetary challenges.

As the war in Ukraine unfolds, we express our solidarity with all those suffering.
Keeping them in our hearts and minds, we believe that the Education for Climate's appropriate approach is to continue pursuing even more so its values of deciding collectively, acting collaboratively and adapting sustainably - for a future in which we overcome together the challenges ahead.

In light of this, we have decided to postpone this meeting by a week - and switched its timing by an hour - to allow more future coordinators to join.

We want this meeting to be the starting point of an ever-so growing pan-European network of local initiatives coming together across National Coalitions to exchange and co-innovate.

If you have anybody in mind who would be missing from this coordination table to multiply our vision concretely, please invite them to this session!
