”Be Smart, Be Green!” is a project that aims to develop sustainable development skills in secondary school students. During the two years of the project, students will participate in activities aimed at: reducing resource consumption and recycling (3R - reduce, reuse, recycle), climate change, preserving biodiversity and healthy living and ensuring well-being.
The activities in which the students participated included teamwork, experiential learning but also the development of practical skills: developing projects about climate change in the local horizon, developing action plans to reduce resource consumption at home and in school, making sustainable gifts from recyclable products, organizing selective waste collection campaigns and, last but not least, promoting sustainable behavior in the local community, by organizing awareness campaigns.
The activities that will follow are aimed at increasing students' awareness of the importance of preserving biodiversity and activities to promote healthy life and well-being (sports competitions, meetings with specialist doctors, outdoor activities, etc.)
