Winning Projects of the 2025 Call for Innovative Green Education Actions

Dear community, 

The results of the 2025 Call for Innovative Green Education Actions are here! 🌱 

From 12 June to 14 September 2025, we received over 100 submissions of good practices in climate education from across Europe, showcasing the creativity and dedication of educators, learners, and community actors turning climate education into action. 

After a careful review, we are proud to announce the nine winning projects for 2025, across three thematic areas.

🔬 GreenComp in STEM Teaching and Learning 

• Small Steps to Mega Results
• SISSTEM Program
• Weather Station Project and Meteorological Observation Plan 

🤝 Citizenship Education

• SoilTribes
• Children learn about building a sustainable future with the help of fox characters
• Activating Youth through Systemic Environmental Education and Storytelling

All nine projects will be celebrated during Education for Climate Day 2025 on 23 October, where they will showcase their initiatives and inspire the community. 👏 Congratulations to the winners, and a heartfelt thank you to all submissions.
