The Advisory Group meets with other community leaders in leadership meetings every two months. As part of its role, it:
- is consulted by the Education for Climate Secretariat regarding everyday community matters and community directions
- informs the Education for Climate Secretariat with its consolidated opinion on how community dynamics are to be taken, shaped and adapted.
How can you be a part of this?
- Each year, a call for applications to join the Advisory Group is launched and promoted across the Education for Climate Coalition.
- Interested community members can apply through an application form, which opens every year around the end of October or the beginning of November.
- Applications are reviewed and 21 members are selected each year to serve on the Advisory Group.
- Membership is granted for a one-year term.
What's in it for you?
- All Advisory Group members will be granted a badge.
- The badge is granted only to members who join the group following their selection and participate in at least four Community Leadership Meetings.
