Congratulations! Your participatory challenge content is now part of the official co-validated community knowledge library. So, where do you go from here?
- As a facilitator, finalise your challenge by posting an update and sharing a link to the Knowledge Library outcome.
- Think about how you can continue to improve your challenge content by gathering feedback, inviting members to test and adapt it, and expanding its reach.
- Reach out to the community through the Challenge Incubator to explore new opportunities and collaborations.
Could your challenge be taken further?
Perhaps it could inspire a spin-off challenge, contribute to an existing challenge, or support a translation, adaptation or reproduction initiative.

Resource library guidelines
The resource library is a curated repository of tools, materials, good practices and knowledge assets shared through the Education for Climate community. Resources may be contributed by community managers or community members and can cover a wide range of topics related to climate education, sustainability and training.
Community managers and communication officers review resources shared on the platform once every two months. Resources are assessed against a set of criteria to ensure they provide value to the Education for Climate community.
General requirements
All resources should meet at least one of the following criteria:
- address climate education and contribute to the annual priorities and focus areas of the Coalition
- provide educational, scientific or practical value for teaching, learning, training, research, upskilling, reskilling, policy development, professional practice or competence frameworks
- be relevant and usable for members of the Education for Climate community, including teachers, learners, educators, researchers, NGOs, policymakers and other stakeholders
- support the exchange of knowledge, good practices, tools, methodologies or evidence that strengthen climate education and collaboration across the community
- demonstrate long-term relevance e.g. event materials are only suitable if they include a recording of a training relevant to the community.
In addition, all resources must:
- be written in clear and accessible language
- be freely and openly accessible
- be based on reliable information, recognised expertise or validated practice.
Additional requirements for community-shared resources
In addition to the general requirements, community-shared resources should fall into one of the following categories:
- good practices that are replicable and adaptable to other contexts, with clear objectives, challenges addressed and lessons learned
- training opportunities for educators, teachers, learners and researchers
- scientific reports linked to educational purposes
- relevant courses for researchers, teachers, educators, learners and other stakeholders.
Resources whose main language is not English should be accompanied by a summary in English.
Community-shared resources should be proposed through the Climate Education Topic or the Bulletin Group, although they may also be shared in other relevant groups when appropriate.
When a resource is selected, community managers and communication officers will ensure that relevant tags are applied and may promote the resource through community newsletters.
