Education for Climate Champions are highly engaged members who take an active role in supporting the Coalition’s mission.

They help connect people, share opportunities and initiatives with their networks, encourage participation, and promote concrete sustainability actions both within the platform and in their own communities

What does being a Champion involve?

As a Champion, you can choose how you would like to contribute. We encourage Champions to engage in at least one of the following ways:

Connect and engage within the community

  • Write one short article per month.
  • Comment on and engage with other members' posts.
  • Participate in key flagship events.
  • Create or participate in a challenge.

Help grow the community

  • Share at least one Education for Climate post every two months.
  • Promote events within your networks.
  • Invite others to join the platform.

Drive change locally

  • Present GreenComp or Coalition activities in your institution or community.
  • Use toolkit resources in workshops.
  • Organise micro-discussions locally.
  • Bring back feedback to the community.

What's in it for you?

Champions who join the group and stay engaged on the platform throughout the year will be recognised with a Champion badge. The badge is awarded at the end of the year to acknowledge their continued engagement and contribution to the community.

This role is open to any verified member of the Education for Climate community. To get started, simply join the Education for Climate Champions group . You can opt in or out at any time.
