valeria napoli • 23 April 2024

On March 27h 2024, the GreenComp community hosted the first annual gathering of the community.

In this occasion, we met not only to celebrate the community achievements since its launch, but also to listen the initial findings of the use case report commissioned by the European Commission, and discussed on assessment tools for the first time live.

Report on use cases

Lisa Nieth - researcher of the Technolopolis Group working on the report - presented the initial findings and engaged with the communities discussing challenges and opportunities in using the GreenComp framework. Are you interested in knowing more about the initial findings? Check the slides below.

Furthermore, it was highlighted the importance of knowledge sharing across projects, community members and - in general - across the EU. Collaboration and cooperation across community projects and beyond were considered key to overcome challenges and better address opportunities.

Assessment tools

Starting from the presentation of Gisela Cebrián, this was also the occasion to host the first conversation live on assessment tools during which it was reiterated the importance of the role played by the community to foster cooperation.

Furthermore, the community ended the conversation with few ideas to follow-up in the community, such as the creation of reference materials and an ecosystem of open badges. Check all the ideas here.
