This TALK is a presentation of the European sustainability competence framework, GreenComp, a conceptual tool defining the competences related to sustainability that was published at the beginning of 2022. It accompanied the Council recommendation on learning for the green transition and sustainable development.
This interview will give you the occasion to better understand what were the objectives of the European Commission in proposing such a tool, what is the competence framework in an nutshell, and what are the next steps foreseen as a dedicated community of practice about GreenComp hosted by Education for Climate has been recently opened.
