Are you a young community member interested in climate-related issues? Join the Youth Climate LAB series and propose practical solutions
WHY | A new group for young people
We want to open a safe space for young community members where they can engage with their peers, explore green issues and share their initiatives.
As part of this group, young members will have the possibility to share initiatives, organise events and inspire other young community members. We will also propose a series of LABs on different topics to give the possibility to tackle and propose solutions to environmental issues while thinking out of the box.
WHAT | The Youth Climate LABs
Each season of the Youth Climate LAB is a peer-learning world café where young participants can engage with their peers, explore an existing climate-related issue and propose practical solutions that can be implemented by interested stakeholders.
Each season will be entirely co-designed with the young members that express their interest in participating, including the possibility to meet experts and gain an in-depth knowledge of the season's topic.
At the end of each LAB, the outcome will be illustrated to interested stakeholders and shared with the community members on the page dedicated to the Youth Climate LAB.
The final conclusions will be also released during the dedicated session on the Education for Climate DAY 2023.
WHAT | Calling for young participants
We are now looking for 10-20 young people with diverse learning backgrounds to launch the first season on sustainable fashion. We will give preference to young citizens between 16 and 25 years old, but all young community members are welcome to join this LAB.
All interested young members will be highlighted in the dedicated page of the Youth Climate LAB.
