Europe will only become climate neutral, resource efficient and a circular economy continent with an informed population that think and act green. There is a need to change peoples’ behaviour and skills, and the education institutions can act as catalysts. The green transition demands professionals and institutions committed to a sustainable economy, with Education institutions leading the change. These institutions train the next generation, transfer knowledge, and integrate green practices, serving as models for society. The U[1]GREEN project seeks to improve the High Education Institutions (HEIs) to act as catalysts in promoting behavioural change and green skills. To do so, we have developed a common framework to assess and update sustainable practices, built the capacities of experts to master the green transition and promoted the transfer of knowledge in a Virtual Knowledge Hub. The main goal is to develop a "Green label" for HEIs to serve as a guide to become green institutions
