S.W.A.T. (Science Will Advance Throughout us):
The project focuses on polar science and climate change, centering around the ANDRILL research in Antarctica. Students explored how polar ice cap variations impact global climate, drawing parallels with recent environmental changes in the Mediterranean and Iberian Peninsula, especially in Galicia's rías. The learning journey included digital tools, virtual meetings, and transnational collaboration between Italian and Spanish schools. During the COVID-19 lockdown, students continued their investigations from home, showing resilience and commitment. They interviewed scientists, created educational games, and analyzed nature’s response to confinement. The project fostered scientific curiosity, environmental awareness, and intercultural dialogue, leaving a lasting impact on students, families, and educators involve. the project was closed at the end of 2020 academic year school.
