What if our cities could not only withstand today’s challenges but thrive in the face of tomorrow’s? URBAN MENUS Dialogue with a Resilient Future turns this vision into action. Running from 2023 to 2025, the project equips urban planners, stakeholders, and VET learners with the skills and tools needed to design sustainable, resilient spaces for the future.
At its heart, the project blends cutting-edge digital innovation with participatory methods. Through immersive VR/AR experiences like URBAN MENUS educational and interactive Innovation Cards, participants explore resilience best practices and test real-world solutions. E-learning modules cover everything from the Green Deal to data analysis, while role games and workshops let VET learners step into the shoes of decision-makers and co-create climate-friendly districts.
The achievements are already visible: pilot workshops in Vienna, Barcelona, and Brussels, have brought together 100+ participants, fostering collaboration across sectors. A new generation of VET learners is gaining confidence in data-driven impact assessment and stakeholder engagement. And with the “URBAN MENUS Diploma in Resilient City Development,” graduates are ready to shape greener, safer, and more inclusive communities.
This project is more than training—it is momentum for change. By merging knowledge, innovation, and collaboration, Dialogue with a Resilient Future is paving the way for cities that don’t just survive, but truly thrive.
