Acting for sustainability | GreenComp café

As part of the GreenComp community, last week we started a new learning experience on the Framework, its content and how it has been used and adapted. During this new phase, we are going to gather during GreenComp cafés and meetings as well as share our own experience and plan activities together.

This is the first café, hosted on September 6th and addressing the competence area of Acting for sustainability. Together with Guia Bianchi, scientist at the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission and one of the authors of the GreenComp framework, we have addressed this competence area, highlighting the interlinks with other European competence framework (i.e. EntreComp).

We have therefore highlighted political agency, collective action and individual initiative and their characteristics as well as their interconnections with the other competences.

We also shared experience in using the competences in formal and non-formal and across education levels. In particular, we acknowledge that competences should be adapted according to the target.
