During the visit of winner of E4C Days call to the JRC site in Ispra, we hosted a workshop on education for environmental sustainability!

Following the first round, this workshop continued the discussion on promoting critical action engagement around green competences within the GreenComp community via the conversation game.

What did we learn?

One of the most inspiring results was not only to see how our guests approached the game considering the results of their project "Germinar um banco de sementes", but also how they identified solutions to achieve the SDGs via collective action, critical thinking and promoting nature.

It was considered of paramount importance to foster climate action and raise awareness by bridging education with science for life on land and below water. These priorities should be linked to developing green competences, with a special focus on skills, knowledge and attitudes around clean energy, industry and sustainable cities.

Ultimately, their main goal was to foster quality education and partnerships for SDGs. They were confident that training teachers is key to help developing green competences and reach the goals together.

What's now?

We would now like to test this conversation game with a wider audience. Would you like to play with us? Register to the next GreenComp café to receive the connection details.

It is always a joy to meet community members and provide a space for deep discussions. Our door is always open, so please do not hesitate to reach us if you would like to organise a similar workshop.
