This week the EU Copernicus Climate Change Service published – together with the UN World Meteorological Organisation – its annual European State of the Climate Report.
It confirms that in 2023 climate change continued to have an impact across Europe, with millions of people affected by extreme weather events such as droughts, floods and wildfires. It makes developing mitigation and adaptation measurements a priority.
