The Joint Research Centre's (JRC) water laboratory has just published the role-playing game on water pollution with which the Education for Climate community was associated.

Caterina Cacciatori and her colleagues have indeed developped a role-play game on debating solutions to water quality contamination based on participatory democracy principles.

It is designed to engage students (aged 16-18 years) in a debate to find solutions to water quality contamination issues. It is inspired by the Model United Nations, and based on the principles of participatory democracy laid out by the Council of Europe.

By playing this game, teachers and students will foster their critical thinking, public speaking, and debating skills, while learning about environmental issues, in particular on water, and the role of science in policy-making.

It is now your turn to play!
