Thank you for this document
In most European countries there are strong traditions of education for sustainable development which are rooted often in geographical education, this document/approach seems to ignore these developments and the expertise that already exists in geographical education and educators
For example the document does not mention the potential role of citizen science initiatives in promoting / encouraging sustainability, these use digital data gathering approaches, geodata analysis, GIS and digital mapping skills to help students / citizens better connect with and understand issues of sustainability and respond to them.
Therefore the question I ask is, should we be integrating sustainability into digital education or integrating digital into sustainability education?
I think the latter approach would be much more suitable.
