Very pleased to see this community happening; GreenComp is proving very helpful in our work to develop a new curriculum area for senior cycle in secondary schools here in Ireland. https://ncca.ie/en/senior-cycle/curriculum-developments/climate-action-…

Very interesting Conor. What about a Education for Climate Talk on this to take stock of where Ireland is with this excellent initiative? Let me know.

Primary level is equally important. Nature, environment and climate should be integral part of their education in terms of terminology. Creative arts and visual arts are one of the ways for infants year.

@Arun... agreed. And perhaps even more important.
@Tremur ... happy to do this, in principle; the chair of the development group is Prof Anne Dolan UL and the NCCA coordinator is Dr David King. I will be talking with them at an event next week and will run the invite by them.

Thank you Conor, let's have some concrete work. We need productive and substantial educational output. We have spent enough time in advocating. I think, it's now time for action in mitigation, management, education related to nature and environment for young generation. Supporting , promoting and implementing those innovation rather than creating hate against fussil, that helps in sequestration of carbon and offsetting is equally necessary in curricula..

Goal and aim:
1) Young generation shouldn't be in confusion, denail, hate/war and, of course polarized.
2) Good knowledge and understanding of renewables, efficiency, cost effective.
3) Healthy competition among all resources of energy.
4) Encourage and promote more innovation and implementation.
5) From excavation to exhaust-Management, prevention by (innovation) , mitigation, cradle to cradle approach ....
