Sweetgrass is best planted not by seed, but by putting roots directly in the ground.
Knowing how to care for ourselves and care for our planet is part of the same learning process.

This is a "Repair" or "Regenerative" Curriculum focused on some of the main planet wounds we can heal collectively. The program puts science and empathy at the center to inspire well-based knowledge actions. Highlighting key topics as entry points to reshape our relationship with ourselves and our ecosystems as s Robin Wall Kimmerer tells us, literally â€śfrom plant to earth to hand across years and generations”. And that's why they will weave the Sweetgrass braid with each one of the students (you need two persons to create a Sweetgrass braid). To thrive “along disturbed edges” as in today’s Climate emergency or social justice situations.
