Students tend to learn better and model behaviour when they see other students their age engaging in certain activities.
Introducing them to people like Greta Thunberg or youth organisations that are making a real difference can inspire them to learn from their efforts or pique their interest on the subject.
Showing our students educational videos targeted towards kids or teenagers is a great way for them to learn.

The observed changes in climate are already having wide-ranging impacts on ecosystems, the economy and on human health and well-being in Europe. New records continue to be set on global and European temperatures, sea levels and reduced sea ice in the Arctic.

Thanks to your post I’m discovering https://teachingthefuture.eu.
I’m looking forward to read the outcomes or this Erasmus+ project.
I've been asked to help find pupils/students to share their expectations ... can you help?
UNESCO would like to understand young people’s current learning experiences and preferences for future climate change education in their schools and communities.
UNESCO is therefore carrying out a Youth Greening Curriculum survey. The students are invited to complete this survey if you are between the ages of 12-25. Deadline: 8 August, 2022.

French: https://secure.unesco.org/survey/index.php?sid=16483&lang=fr

The result of this process will be published at COP 27 in Egypt in November this year and will contribute to the development of the UNESCO greening curriculum guidelines to be launched for COP 28 in 2023.
Thank you

Really interesting the survey carried out by UNESCO. The problem is that most students are on holiday now and it's quite difficult for teachers to contact them and inform them about the survey before the deadline (August 8th)
I know some of my students are completing it,
At this moment it's necessary young people understand the impact of the climate crisis and schools must empower them with the knowledge, skills and attitudes needed to act.
I completed the survey. It made me discover a lot of useful online resources, starting with https://teachingthefuture.eu, I am very happy about that. Will the results be made public - or at least accessible to the E4C community?
I also completed the survey, Thank you for the valuable links. I am also sharing our work www.teachinggreen.eu
There are several and simultaneos fields to work. There are some teachers working hard but the need is huge. Regulations are not always implemented and the lack of budget for these projects are a common baseline.
This is a huge change, but I hope this communityt can contribute somehow to have a true impact in our close environment .
