Let’s talk about… CYBERSECURITY AND BIG DATA

As part of its Youth Programme, and in the wider context of the European Green Deal, the Joint Research Centre (JRC) hosts a monthly series of Digital School Seminars for secondary schools in English and Italian titled “Science is everywhere” and touching upon environmental issues, such as Food, Health, Biodiversity, Energy and Cybersecurity & Big data.

The next of these seminars in English, titled “Let’s talk about…Cybersecurity and Big data”, focuses on the technical solutions our scientists are researching to counteract cyber attacks, natural disasters and technical failures that disrupt digital systems, causing major economic and social damage.

The broad spectrum of knowledge is distilled and introduced by the scientists themselves through a presentation and debate among colleagues.
