The event “Celebrating citizen-led climate action” is happening tomorrow from 9:30 am and will take place in Brussels at the Berlaymont building.

I will be there to listen to the EU Climate Pact Ambassadors and am particularly interested to learn more during the roundtable (see agenda below) that will take place from 11:00 to 12:15 (Brussels times) and will explore how citizen-led action can help the EU’s climate transition. Something of great interest for our community.

I will closely follow the discussion on the 3rd theme: The next generation

These are the questions shared in advance for reflection:

• How can climate action and engagement initiatives help equip and
empower young people to gain the knowledge, skills and confidence they need?

• How can we reach out to and bring along young people from different backgrounds and local contexts, with different life experiences and outlooks? Examples of good approaches?

• What can adults learn from young people and their take on climate
action? How can we make the most out of intergenerational dialogue and cooperation?

• How can the Pact community get involved? How can the Pact’s citizen engagement tools be used?

Good questions. What would you answer?

You can share the event and follow it via this livestream link.
