What Is the Mobile Climate Museum?

The Mobile Climate Museum (MCM) is a traveling education center focused on climate change. We go from place to place in Lithuania and Latvia to teach people, especially the youth, about climate change and what can be done about it.

Why Is It Important?

Climate change is a big problem that affects everyone. But in smaller cities, it's often hard to find good information about it. That's where the MCM comes in. We bring important lessons right to your local area.

What Do We Do?

The MCM offers lessons that last about an hour. We've already reached over 31,000 people in just one year. We work with local governments, schools, and other partners to make sure as many people as possible can learn from us.

Topics We Cover

  • Why climate change is a big deal
  • What you can do about it
  • How policies can help or hurt the planet

How Do We Teach?

Our teaching is hands-on. That means we use:

  1. Role-play games to understand policy issues
  2. Charts and models to explain science
  3. Quizzes to test your knowledge
  4. Demos to show you sustainable practices like composting
  5. Take-home guides for you to keep learning

What's Next?

We aim to keep growing and reaching more people. We want to help spark local discussions about climate change and encourage people to take action.

How Can You Get Involved?

If you’re interested in our methods & resources or the MCM itself, simply contact us or visit the museum's website: Climate Change mobile museum - visit in your city in the Baltics (klimatomuziejus.lt)

Thanks for reading, and we hope to see you soon at the MCM!

Great work!!!
It is essential to disseminate information and skills on the issue of climate change to as many places as possible.
People (and in particular, young people) need to be aware of the impact of climate change.
