Our school canteen caters for teas and coffees for students and staff, we felt we were using too many disposable cups, and we thought we could encourage everybody to use the re usable coffee cups if they had a good one. Our 2nd Years working for the WWGS programme, and preparing their CBA, and in conjoint with our Erasmus programme with 3rd and 5th Years we joined forces and we organised the purchase of 100 re usable coffee cups for our school, school community and our school partner in Spain. Our 2nd years took control of the selection, design, pricing, marketing (initial survey and marketing for the final product) and sell of the coffee cups. The coffee cups were sold during a school concert so some of the impact of the re usable cups won't be visual to us, but we will be happy to know we have changed someone consumer habits, and they are using them instead of disposable ones. We can still see the re usable cups around the school, and our students and teachers are still using them with the purpose of reducing our landfill waste.
