SOSUSK project for social and green entrepreneurship skills and competences for NEETs

SOSUSK – Social and Sustainable skills for young NEET population is meant to face the pivotal challenge of mobilising a transnational population of European young Neither in Employment nor in Education or Training (NEETs), providing them with social and green entrepreneurship skills and competences.

In the current hard times, investing in decent job creation in the green and social entrepreneurship sectors, as well as in digital education and training opportunities for the youth, will contribute to the development of more prosperous and stable societies. For this purpose, the partnership is working on innovative learning and training opportunities willing to empower a large network of NEETs, youth organizations, and career services. With the ultimate goal of bringing out and enhancing the European NEETs entrepreneurial talents.

Andreas, thanks a lot for sharing this interesting material. Great project!!!
As a secondary teacher I think it's a must for us to guide and prepare our students for work-based learning and engage them in designing and monitoring their own learning.
Secondary schools are naturally on "the front-line" whether we have post-16 pupils or not. Many decisions, conscious or unconscious, for young people about their future are heavily influenced by schooling. So, there is no doubting their important impact on pupils when it comes to career choices and the steps needed to get there.
Career guidance and mentoring services play an important role in giving NEETs ("ninis", in Spain) the opportunity to be involved in entrepreneurial activities that will allow them to identify and capitalise on business and employment opportunities.
