Join our platform and contest for the CircularCityChallenge project!

CircularCityChallenge is a project that aims to educate teenagers on circularity and sustainability through a competition-based approach that involves designing functional urban solutions with nature-based elements.

We have launched an online platform where students can access the curriculum materials, resources, and tools that teach how to identify circularity issues,  how to use stakeholder analysis to understand the perspectives, interests, and power relations of different actors involved in sustainability and circularity issue, and how to develop local circularity actions. 

We have also launched a contest that challenges high school students to apply their new skills to propose circular economy solutions for their cities. Students can choose any topic or context related to sustainability and circularity in their cities, and use stakeholder analysis to identify the problem, the actors involved, and the possible solutions.

The deadline for submitting the proposals is July 30th, 2024. The proposals will be evaluated by a jury composed of local policymakers and experts from different fields and sectors. The winners will be announced in October 2024.
