Thank you again to all panelists for the engaging conversation!

We received the following questions/comments on slido - dear community, let's create separate discussions on them, if you feel engaging in them more deeply.

- Do you think that it is fundamental for building an efficient policy to listen to children and young people about what they need to learn about Climate?

- What activities did you plan with the children to raise climate awareness?

- Events like this are great. Does the Commission have any further concrete plans to reach out to teachers & educators in ways that 'meet them where they are'?

- What about intergenerational and intercultural education programs?

- We live in a continent where the demographic curve shows an elderly population: why then do we always talk about education only for young people? and adults?

- Could NGOs of educators be involved in accelerating the integration of climate change in education (interesting example with the carbon literacy project)?

- How do we define green skills and competences and how can we ensure recognition, and how can we make them valuable for employers?

- Entrepreneurial competences allow learners to easily spot problems and areas of improvement, generate ideas and put them into action to create value...

- This mindset, this into-action approach, this value-creation purpose, will let present & future generations to take into their hands real and tangible solutions

- Impressive work made by Mrs Dubois with 4-5 years old children, empowering children as problem solvers.

- Young children' brains are the "research & development" department of the humanity ?

- Neli, I invite you to have a look at GreenComp https://joint-research-centre.ec.europa.eu/greencomp-european-sustainabโ€ฆ

- Thank you Vanessa! I love your plea to see young people too as serious changemakers. And also the stress you put on first awareness & attitude, and then deepen the knowledge and skills.

- Thank you for the inputs from the various speekers. We also experienced, that young people are powerful changemakers.
However, we saw that it is much more effective, when we interact with them continuously over a period of time than have a one-day event.

- I am a teacher in a CPIA working with italian and foreign adults on sustainability issues in total solitude without any enhancement from the ministry. that's ou rreality!

- 2021 were awarded Public Vote Award1st Edition,Malta Climate Action Awards. We filmed music video: Sing For The Climate. We're finding it challenging on long term.
