Koen Timmers is a teacher, an author and the founder of various global education initiatives. He is the executive director of the non-profit Take Action Global (TAG), a very ambitious initiative focusing on climate action education. The Climate Action Project founded in 2017 is one of the projects of TAG and involves 4,600,000 students across 160 countries…

In that TALK, Koen shares with us the objectives he wants to reach with his project, the role played by communities of practice uniting teachers and students beyond national boundaries as the Education for Climate Coalition, and also the project ‘Coding for the Climate” that combines digital with sustainability. Koen believes education systems should find the right balance between the 3 H’s: head, heart and hands. Don’t you agree with him?
