A research vessel sets off on an expedition around the world to understand global warming and how it affects climate. This is how the story starts. Global warning is a science-based course material developed by Maker's Red Box, a private company based in Budapest, that storyfies and gamifies climate change to make it accessible for students of all interests and abilities.

Adam Horvat and Dora Ferenczy explain to us the details of this game which is among the winners of the 2023 EducationForClimate call on innovative green education actions.

The bottom line? Let’s position the learners as actors, as agents in their learning.
