This video initiates the Education for Climate Talks. This new series of interviews is proposed to the members of the Education for Climate community in order to share relevant knowledge, highlight new initiatives, and engage in debate around the issue of education for the green transition and sustainable development. We will talk science, teaching technics, education initiatives, and many other subjects related to green education with experts, educators and students.

In this session, Giacomo Grassi, senior scientist of the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission, talks to us about climate change and the role played by the 27th Conference of the Parties of the UNFCCC (so called COP27).

01.46 - Where do we stand on the climate crisis and why is the European Commission working on climate change related issues?

08.05 - The COP27 just took place in Sharm el-Sheikh. What is a "COP" and what are its objectives?

10.04 - What did the COP27 achieve and what are the next steps?

I watched this video. Thank you very much. Because it was like the summary of COP27. I attended lots of live broadcastings at COP27. I heard almost the same sentences for example: mitigation 1.5, Climate Change.,etc... I also attended Climate Pact event in person in Brussels on the first of February in Charlemagne Building with Frans Timmermans. He said smtg very important "WE MUST ACT ALL TOGETHER ALL AROUND THE WORLD"..
