flyer about EUTEENS4GREEN call

Dear community, dear teachers,

As we see a growing youth mobilization around climate issues and the urge to involve youth in the climate dialogue, we are thrilled to announce the launch of EUTeens4Green, a call that gives the opportunity to young people to take action and implement their ideas to advance the green transition in their region.

This call offers grants up to €10.000 for sustainable actions run by youngsters to increase the participation of people most affected by the challenges of the green transition in EU carbon-intensive regions.

We are talking about youngsters (or a group) in age 15-24, or associations living or established in the Just Transition Fund regions who aspire to be changemakers and to have a positive impact in society.

To know more visit the website euteens4green.org

Applications can be submitted https://participate.euteens4green.org/.

The eligible territories are listed here.

We see here an exciting opportunity for teachers to bring this initiative to the classrooms and engage with their pupils on related topics such as climate action, education to sustainability, etc.

As a teacher, you are welcome to share this call with your students and encourage them to submit a project idea. Help us spread the word!

We have created a step-by-step booklet to guide students and teachers through the application process and we organize weekly webinars to explain the project and answer common questions.

As the coordinator of the project (SERN), I am happy to discuss more in-depth with you about this initiative and reply to any queries. Don't hesitate to reach out to me: barbara.bento@startupregions.eu
