Climate Change is Worse than the IPCC Says

Scientists have a very high evidence level required to prove their claims and the carbon lobby attacks their results whenever possible.  Both the IPCC and research funding is very politically controlled, and the models ignore important phenomenon.

Rather than looking at the scientific predictions it would be much wiser for the IPCC to look at the risk analysis.  Taking into account the potential costs of future climate trajectories would lead to very different decisions.

The lesson is that instead of saying "Follow the Science", we should be saying, "Look at the Risk Analysis"

This video is long, but it is the most important my 64 recommended videos.

It was recommended to me by @poostain@aus.social. I have found that Mastodon is the best source for good climate change information.  I feel like I am drinking from a fire hydrant with good clean news.

Human activity is changing the climate in unprecedented and sometimes irreversible ways.
Spain's State Meteorological Agency - AEMET in its analysis points out that 2022 has been the warmest year in Spain in more than a century.
2022 is coming to an end as one of the warmest years in recent times. The average temperature in Spain exceeded 15 degrees Celsius, making the year that has just ended the warmest in the national historical series, which dates back to 1961. It is also the warmest year taking into account a climatic reconstruction dating back to 1915. "There has been no precedent for such an extremely warm year for more than a century," said AEMET spokesman Rubén del Campo.
