The EU Mission Soil is funding new projects to foster soil education across society!
Soil is vital for our daily life on Earth. However, we take it for granted in our lives, but in fact soils are a scarce, non-renewable and threatened resource. 60-70% of European soils are unhealthy, mainly because of unsustainable management practices and climate change.
Within the Horizon Europe’s Mission ‘A Soil Deal for Europe’, the Commission is looking for innovative projects to improve society’s understanding of soils and encourage good practices and hands-on activities related to soil education in schools, universities and professional education.
