Dear all,

As agreed during our last Community Café, this very topic is about codesigning the Webinar our community will propose in the frame of the European Educational Leadership week (ELNE week) that will take place on 16 February from 13:30 to 14:30 (you can register here).

This topic is a coworking space that gives webinar participants (see list below) the possibility to co-edit the topic (bear in mind that everyone in the platform can do the same), and to all other community members to comment underneath, bringing their ideas and recommendations.

Let me recap the plan for our webinar:

TITLE

Education for Climate Coalition: community co-creation for sustainability

CONCEPT

After a short presentation of the journey that led to the creation of the Education for Climate Coalition, the webinar will be a conversation between community members of this participatory community of practice for students, teachers and education stakeholders facilitated by the European Commission (EducationForClimate Secretariat).

Participants will showcase the value and dynamics of this community to share, collaborate and co-create around issues related to learning for the green transition and sustainable development.

The panel discussion and the Q&A will be composed of 5 members contributing to the community with different responsibilities, roles and backgrounds to illustrate the diversity of the community and the possibilities it offers. This will be moderated by the Education for Climate Secretariat.

AGENDA

13:30 to 13:40

Introduction to the Education for Climate Coalition by the Secretariat (journey, objectives, key features), highlighting the main engagement anchor for collaboration opportunities – THE CHALLENGE HUB

13:40 to 14:10

Panel conversation moderated by Secretariat (Secretariat also contributing to chat)

2 (consecutive) questions to guide the conversation (15 + 15 min):

1. Why do we need a dedicated transnational community on green education: why is this important and how does it contribute to the change needed in education?

2. How a European community of practice as EducationForClimate is a useful tool to make change happen?

> the 2 questions open up the possibility of talking about content and form

> Every panellist contributes to the discussion according to their role, interests and expertise in the community

14:10 to 14:25

15 minutes/answering questions from the audience.

14:25 to 14: 30

Conclusions, actionable outlook

(Teams chat is open during ALL event. Community members are invited to contribute and engage with audience)
