The third and final meeting of the coordinators of the Erasmus+ LEAF project was held on September 26 and 27 in the premises of the Contemporary High School, bringing together representatives from Croatia, Romania, France, Greece, Italy and Serbia. The LEAF project, which ends in December this year, aims to educate students and teachers about biodiversity and the environment through engagement in the local community.
During the meeting in Belgrade, the coordinators discussed the current results, challenges and future steps of the project. As a result of the work of six countries, a handbook and an interactive platform for teachers were created, which offer useful resources for use in the classroom. The manual provides exercises and methods to improve teaching practice, while the platform offers tools that are easily integrated into teaching.
After the meeting, the participants had the opportunity to explore Belgrade with a professional guide and tour the bohemian part of the city, Skadarlija, where they enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere. This meeting symbolically marked the end of two years of collaboration on the project and opened up new opportunities for future initiatives in the field of environmental education.
