Lake Mead Drought Update!!! What's Going On?!!!

Video evidence of how fast Lake Meade is shrinking, going all the way back to 2000. Produced by people who drive pick up trucks to pull their power boats. Of course not a word about climate change, not even in the comments. In the middle they get sidetracked by rescuing a stranded truck. Maybe skip that part.

I think that these video images are so powerful.

In other news, I am continuing to improve the translations of the draft syllabus.  The syllabus is translated, now I am starting to work on the web site itself.  I have the tools for translating the web page footer.  And for adding some links to the tops of the pages.  (now they are at the bottom).

I am also posting this in the general news category.  Please let me know if I got that wrong.

There are so many form fields at the bottom of this page.  I am not quite sure which ones are important. I hope I did that right also.

The video and some articles about Lake Meade (especially the photos) are shocking.

"The loss of water in the lake (Lake Meade) can lead to dust storms, wildfires, and other problems in the surrounding area. And as one of the primary sources of hydroelectric power in the southwestern United States, a decrease in lake levels could lead to higher electricity prices and disruptions in power supplies..."

There are so many countries whose swamps and water reservoirs are drying up. For instance, in Spain, small villages that have been submerged under the water for decades have emerged as "ghost towns" due to droughts, extreme temperatures and humans drawing too much water from them.
“Wasting water today will turn streams into clay” ☠️???
