International Education Day 24.1. is a day I always look forward to. I thought for a long time about what environmental activity I would try on this day and I found this: https://lnkd.in/dgJhGSMH It might be interesting for younger children also Logico - Environmental education see here: https://www.logico.sk/p/170/logico-primo-1014-environmentalna-vychova And for the older children, f. e. reading a book by Branislav Jobus- Collection yard or Garbage phantom- it could be an education that they basically don't even know is being realized during reading (and even in a funny way): https://branojobus.sk/kategorie/knihy/ https://branojobus.sk/obchod/odpadkovy-fantom/

26.1. was Clean Energy Day. Clean energy is energy whose production does not destroy the environment. It is energy from renewable sources, i.e. j. resources that are renewed in a natural way at such a speed as the speed of their consumption. There are several benefits of using clean energy. First of all, it is an ecological benefit, as well as an alternative to fossil fuels. Clean energy mitigates deforestation, helps better land management and is beneficial in mitigating climate change. It contributes to cleaner air, higher energy efficiency, an increase in the number of jobs, etc. Its share is continuously growing. In recent years, the number of small producers of clean energy has increased in Slovakia. We can be inspired by examples of good practice.
Today 28.1. is International CO2 Reduction Day. We can share this information f. e. through our social networks.

Today 2.2. is World Wetlands Day: Wetlands are critical for people and planet, serving as havens for wildlife, filtering pollution, and storing carbon. However, they are disappearing three times faster than forests, posing a severe threat to many plant and animal species.

World Wetlands Day, observed on 2 February, highlights the interconnectedness of human wellbeing with the health of the planet's precious wetlands.
