I'm glad to share with the community the launch of the english version of the Massive Online Open Course (Mooc) Environmental Impacts of Digital Technologies. Co-produced by the Association Class'Code and Inria and supported by the Délégation Numérique pour l'Education (Ministry of National Education - France) in collaboration with many contributors, this Mooc is a collective work with the inputs of more than thirty experts on digital technologies and their environmental impact, scientists and educational mediators.
This free course is now open on the FUN Platform : https://lms.fun-mooc.fr/login?next=richie/en/courses/environmental-impacts-of-digital-technologies/ (Registration at https://lms.fun-mooc.fr/register)
Designed as a step-by-step progression, the Mooc allows learners to advance logically in their thinking. Divided into four parts, it offers activities, videos, concept sheets to deepen certain concepts, and bibliographies. It is aimed at all members of society (because we are all affected), but can also be used in the classroom to raise awareness among secondary school students. In this perspective all the resources of the Mooc are accessible via a web portal. Hope you will enjoy it and looking forward exchanging about it within Education for climate.
