The European Youth Week 2024 is around the corner!
It will celebrate and promote youth engagement, participation and active citizenship all over Europe and beyond. The event will take place from 12 to 19 April 2024 and will propose many activities and events across the EU.
You can join us on 12 April in Brussels at the European Parliament in Brussels where the EducationForClimate Coalition will join Youth4Ocean and EU4Ocean in a common booth in form of a physical community space dedicated to fostering awareness and action for environmental sustainability and ocean literacy.
This partnership between our European initiatives represents a comprehensive approach to education and advocacy, aimed at supporting teaching, learning, and engagement in the green transition and the importance of ocean literacy across Europe.

The EducationForClimate Coalition booth will feature information on how any learner, from kindergarten to lifelong learning, can contribute through challenges, country groups, and practice showcases. Not to miss: the Youth Climate LAB, focusing on "How to approach AI and climate change in learning communities" for the 2024 season, promising peer-learning opportunities and practical solutions development.
Simultaneously, the Youth4Ocean/EU4Ocean stand will showcase its commitment to strengthening ocean literacy, inviting participants to explore Youth4Ocean activities and projects, join their #MakeEUBlue campaign, and discover the #EUBeachCleanup campaign by DG MARE. Interactive elements like marine litter quizzes offer both education and the chance to win prizes, while experts from EU4Ocean are on hand to deepen visitors’ understanding of marine issues and encourage active participation in ocean conservation efforts.
Visit us at our collaborative booth!
All attendees will be able to engage with members of the Education for Climate Secretariate and community members.
We welcome everybody who will be at the European Parliament on that day!
