Welcome to the Green Competences Lab

Happening during the Policy Forum 2024!

As learners and educators we understand the imperative role that green competences play in navigating the twin transition effectively. The twin transition, characterized by the dual challenge of sustainable and digital transformation, demands a holistic approach to learning and competence development.

To equip our communities for the twin transition, we thus have to embedd and and enact a set of green and additional competences into the heart of our educational journeys. How can we do so and what is already out there to future-proof our activities?

The Questions

So, when we think about embedding and enacting green competences for the twin transition:

1. What does this mean for education policy? How do we need to address or re-dress policy for this shift towards a more sustainable future?

2. And what about education practice? What are the good practices out there that can help us address this change and prepare ourselves and our communities for a sustainable future?

3. Lastly, collaboration is key. What are the next steps that we need to take together on both sides to ensure that we are moving towards a more sustainable future?

Let's explore these questions and more in the Green Competences Lab.

What are your thoughts on this?
