ARTS 4 People and Earth is a project that aims to develop cultural and artistic activities with a view to promoting awareness and changing behaviors related to the challenges posed by the relationship between human beings and society with the environment and nature.
It intends to implement activities to promote the creation of different artistic works in four areas: visual, performing, cinematographic and literary arts.
It involves the implementation of a program of artistic production workshops, in order to develop works/works in order to to be presented in activities to promote and raise awareness of different audiences, in the form of exhibitions, performances, projections or publications.

At school, teaching about the environment usually takes place only in the natural science disciplines. But arts can play a main role in engaging young people (and why not, adults) with new perspectives and offer environments for critical, integrative, and reflexive approaches.
It can thus serve as a means of expanding young people’s imagination and empowering them to create new scenarios for transformative change.
Last year my students took part in the #MyClimateAction Contest. It was a photography competition. They learnt a lot as the same time they enjoyed.
