How can suggestions be translated into action? | Youth Climate LAB

Last week, we resumed our Youth Climate LAB on sustainable fashion after the summer break! We had the opportunity to listen to Marco Inchingolo, a scientist working at the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission, who helped us in translating our suggestions in practical recommendations.

What was on?

After the summer break, we resumed the conversation on how to influence unsustainable fashion trends towards more sustainable behaviours. As usual, we kept track of our discussion on a Miro board.

What emerged?

After a short recap, we listened to Marco Inchingolo, who presented to us two behavioural science's models: Go EAST and COM-B model of behaviour. Thanks to his presentation, we were able to translate our suggestions and ideas in practical recommendations for our peers.

The meeting was focused on carrying out a practical exercise, in which we linked the target of our recommendations (youth) with themes, channels and actions mentioned in previous meetings.

What is next?

In the following weeks, we will continue working on this exercise; and we will meet next month for a last time to organise the session we will host during the Education for Climate Day 2023.

If you are interested in our outcomes and you would like to discuss it further, please join us on the 15th November registering to our session.
