Welcome to the Science-driven Education Lab
Happening during the Policy Forum 2024!
As educators, students and scientists, we acknowledge the indispensable role of science-driven climate education in facilitating a fair twin transition.
Recognizing that this is an ever-so evolving field, it's clear that staying abreast of these changes is important for equipping ourselves and our communities with uptodate insights, communicated and engaged around in creative and accessible manners. Central to this is teacher training, as well as science engagement, paired with learning approaches that make abstract concepts of climate change more tangible and actionable for learners in an enjoyable manner accessible to all.
The Questions
So, when we think about how to shape science-driven climate education in the future to be fair, fun, and accurate:
1. What does this mean for education policy? How do we need to address or re-dress policy for this shift towards a more sustainable future?
2. And what about education practice? What are the good practices out there that can help us address this change and prepare ourselves and our communities for a sustainable future?
3. Lastly, collaboration is key. What are the next steps that we need to take together on both sides to ensure that we are moving towards a more sustainable future?
