Education for Climate TALKS

We are launching a series of interviews with members of our community to contribute to the necessary debate on learning for the green transition and sustainable development and provide food for thought.

We will be talking about science of course, but also about educational projects and techniques, educational policies and concrete achievements, giving the floor to experts, teachers and students.

We initiate this series with Giacomo Grassi, JRC senior scientist, to learn more about the COP27.

Your comments and suggestions are most welcome. Let’s TALK!

New Onboarding Sessions

To keep the community a safe place, we have implemented a new welcome routine. From now on, new community members will need to move through an easy verification process: in 3 clicks, fill in the profile, meet us every week in a short drop-in session and let us know community preferences.

Community registration will stay always open, but newly registered users will only be able to contribute to the community after this verification process.

We are looking forward to welcoming everybody and to an enriched community experience!

Can GreenComp help learners behave more sustainably?

A new policy report from the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission tackles this question.

Many of you had time to have a look at the European sustainability competence framework (GreenComp) since its publication in January 2022. But you might still be wondering whether or not the green competences which are listed and defined in GreenComp do make a difference for learners and help them behave in a more sustainable manner.

This policy reports shows with evidence that it is the case.
