Policy Forum 2024 | Climate Resilience: Preparing for the Future
Join the EducationForClimate Policy Forum 2024 on 17 April afternoon and engage in a direct dialogue with policymakers and practitioners in the field of climate resilience.
Engage in a high-level townhall debate on climate resilience and how learning for sustainability contributes to preparing to the future and attend three parallel policy/practice labs on: 1. capacity-building for learning communities 2. green competences for the twin transition 3. science-driven climate education.
We invite you to register, chose the lab you want to attend and to answer our call for participation if you want to play a more prominent role in the discussions (deadline 10 March).

GreenComp café - ESD rubric #2– 13 March
Second edition of this special GreenComp Café facilitated by The Vrije Universiteit Brussel and the European Schools.
This second co-creation workshop supports the validation of an evaluation rubric so that school administrators and teachers can bring the GreenComp framework in their innovation management processes. This Café will focus on reviewing in detail the indicators of the remaining criteria.

A research vessel sets off on an expedition around the world to understand global warming and how it affects climate… This is how the story starts.
Global Warning is a science-based course material developed by Maker's Red Box, a private company based in Budapest, that storyfies and gamifies climate change to make it accessible for students of all interests and abilities.

A new Erasmus+ call on policy experimentation has just been launched.
One priority is about supporting education stakeholders and institutions to strengthen sustainability competence development and foster its systemic integration into education and training by building on the GreenComp framework.

TAP-TS Project (Teacher Academy Project - Teaching Sustainability)
The TAP-TS project is one of the first eleven Teacher Academies funded under the new ERASMUS+ action, and one of three looking at aspects of sustainability and climate crisis education.
The consortium comprises 11 partners, coordinated by the Centre of Teacher Education and Education Research at TU Dresden, University of Technology.

The Office for Climate Education (OCE) is organising its second Climate Summer University.
This event will take place from the 8th to the 12th July 2024 in Toulouse, France and will welcome middle school teachers, high school teachers and trainers from all over Europe for a full week of professional development workshops. Application deadline 3 March 2024.
